The Slope value is used to know the handicap of a course and is backed by the measurement performed by a referee from the Federación Española de Golf (Spanish Golfing Federation). The Slope value evaluates the potential result of a boggie player (with an average tee-off of 200 yards) in that course, with respect to the result of a scratch player (with an average tee-off of 250 yards).
